Welcome to India

The timeless greeting of " Namaste " is an expression of respect and allows two individuals to come together energetically to a place of connection, free from the bonds of ego.
Derived from the ancient language of Sanskrit it is a combination of two words, Namah and te. Namah means 'bow' reverential salutation or adoration and te means 'to you' Therefore, Namaste literally means 'salutations to you'.
Namaste represents the belief that there is a divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. It is accompanied by a slight bow made with hands pressed together in front of the chest, palms touching and fingers pointed upwards.

Deeply embedded in the Indian culture you be will be greeted by the traditional namaste wherever you go in India.
